Things You Don’t Know About Me

I grew up on a lake in a small New Jersey town called Elmer. We had one gas station, a pizza place, a post office, and a bank

I was introduced to music by my Ukelele playing uncle at the age 2

I sang at my cousin’s wedding reception when I was 2 years old

My first cassette tape was The Beatles – Help!

My first Compact Disc purchase was Nirvana “Nevermind” and Guns and Roses “Use Your Illusion 1”

My uncle sings for one of New Jersey’s most popular cover bands, a Lynyrd Skynyrd/ Allman Bros/Southern Rock tribute band called Last Call.

The first concert I ever went to was Alabama with my dad. Had no clue who they were.

Second concert was Rod Stewart with my mom. Great show!

I prefer Nintendo over Sega and Playstation over Xbox

I grew up singing for the church choirs

Although I rarely attend church anymore, I was the youngest deacon of my New Jersey church at the age of 14. I was also appointed to the committee, which hires the new Pastors at age 17

The basement of our house is decorated with Beatles and Star Wars memorabilia

I went to a Metallica concert by myself and made friends with the local headbangers

I went to college at Elon University, NC to major in Broadcasting and play on the tennis team, which was ranked 2nd in the nation. Ends up I slept through tryouts and I graduated with a teaching degree

I grew up playing soccer and baseball. I was always second baseman. I worshiped Ryne Sandberg of the Chicago Cubs

In high school, I moved onto tennis and was named All State Doubles Player in NJ my senior year

My first guitar was a Steve Vai copy. I took lessons for 6 months and decided I hated it and quit. Taught myself again 2 years later

My favorite foods are: Cream Chipped Beef, Mozzarella Sticks, Philly Cheesteak (the real way), and Chicken Parm.

I prefer the Beatles over the Stones and Pearl Jam over Nirvana

"Rain and Flies" (2006)
This is my latest album and is the one I am most excited about. I took more of rock band approach to this one. I also decided to use some different mucisians on this one, who really brought the music to life and took this thing in a bigger direction than I had originally planned. This songs are very personal and describe a lot of events that have taken place since “Mind’s Made Up” came out. Many people ask about the title reference… basically I came up with it when I heard someone describing singer/songwriters as only writing about rainbows and butterflies and how great love is. Well I took the opposite approach. Love is the greatest thing in the world, but its does not always have to be happy. There is a darker side to it as well. So I just took out the “bows” and the “butter”.

"Mind's Made Up" (2004)
This album shows how my writing began to turn  in a slightly different direction and we took more time as a band arranging this one.  It has been compared to Coldplay, Lenny Kravitz, Jeff Buckley, and U2.

"Ghost On The Outside" (2003)
My solo debut as a new Atlanta singer/songwriter. I put together a fine group of musicians that I still work with today ...Bret Hartley, Bass Malone, and Tim Arbisi. This album has a darker, edgier sound than the others. I am proud of this one. The songs are very diverse.

"Painting Footsteps" (2001)
This is a solo acoustic album that I recorded right before moving to Atlanta in 2001. It contains very personal songs and I have never played them live since recording this. On top of that, I have never made this album available to the public until now. This will be a CDR of the original version. I never had this one professionally pressed. I think you will
enjoy the songs on this one if you are into the more raw acoustic side of music.

MBB "Perfect Somewhere" (1999)
This was the album that got us recognized by some labels. I do not have many of these left. Please act fast!!!

MBB "Montgomery Burns Band" (1999)
MBB (the Montgomery Burns Band) was formed in 1997 as I attended Elon University in NC. We toured the east coast and the college market up until we parted ways in 2001. We made quite a name for ourselves and were close to signing a record deal. We had some creative differences and wanted to move onto other interests. Many people are still asking about the albums we released. I have a limited amount left and they are very hard to come across the days. Here is your chance to pick one up and check it out. Very college/pop rock.

Shuteye Records "Buzzlighter" Compilation (2005)
Shut Eye Records out of Atlanta recently named me "AAA Artist Of The Year" for 2004!! In addition they placed my song "Meet Me In The Lobby" on their compilation. This cd includes some very cool unsigned bands and will give you a chance to hear what other
great music is floating around out there. Please check this one out and support regional artists!
